Title I Program

Purpose of Title I

Title I is a federally funded program to provide children with supplemental educational assistance in the Martin F. Quinn Primary Center (K-2) and the Intermediate Center (2-4). Title I Program funds are provided to help children meet the state content and performance standards in reading, language arts, and mathematics. Interventions are provided in small group settings to improve student achievement. Highly qualified teachers provide intense instruction daily utilizing research based interventions, strategies and techniques to strengthen reading and math skills.

A Schoolwide Program is a comprehensive reform strategy designated to upgrade the entire educational program in a Title I school.
