NEPA Summer in the City!!!
After two years of planning, NEPA Summer in the City has designed a program for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors at any NEPA high school. In partnership with Geisinger Health Network, The Lands at Hillside Farms, The Food Dignity Movement, Gifts for Teens, and The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA, the program blends summer fun with meaningful college and career-focused skill building.
From May to August, accepted students participate in workshops across Luzerne County while working directly with nonprofit leaders to design a Community Development Project—a real-world nonprofit initiative that partner organizations will actually carry out for the region.
This would be a great opportunity for our students. Applications are due by Sunday, March 8th. The digital application can be found here:
