Our very own 5th grade teacher, Mr. Capone, participated in Paint the Planet Pink! This organization raises money for breast cancer awareness. Mr. Capone raced in the gentleman’s dash on Saturday where he placed 1st!! He also raised money for the organization by having “Pennies for Pink” at the IC. He led the students and faculty on a walk to help raise awareness. So far he has raised about $400.00 and the event is still going on until October 2nd. So please bring in those Pennies! Every little bit helps! Thank you Mr. Capone for helping such a wonderful organization!!
