This clinic was created to do exactly what the name says, make a high impact on local athletes
who are in need of training, opportunity, and mentorship.
It was brought to our attention that there's currently not a lot of opportunity available for 1st–6th graders at Pittston Area to play basketball.
That’s about to change.
We’re starting with this clinic — but the vision is bigger. This is the first step toward launching a youth league this Spring.

❄️☃️On Saturday, December 20th, the Pittston Area School District Title 1 Program will be hosting the Reading Winter Wonderland to all of our Patriots Birth-5th grade and their families. The event will be held at the Pittston Area High School from 9:00am to 1:00 pm. ⛄️❄️
🎅🏽🤶The event will include photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus-hands on activities-games-holiday crafts-Christmas music-and a Special Surprise....Winter tractor/hayrides🚜❄️
Please complete the form being sent home this week, and return one to your oldest child’s teacher by December 12th. 📚❄️
The event is free to all Pittston Area Patriots Birth-5th grade who reside in the district accompanied by an adult.
🎄 Tuesday, December 2nd is Candy Cane Day - dress in red, white or both!
🎄You do not have to participate in these days. Participate in all or some - just a little something to get us in the festive spirit!
Mrs. Pribula and Ms. McGlynn invited the students to use their creativity and create 3D haunted house. Those haunted houses were then voted on by their peers. Great job to all the students who participated and congratulations to the winners!!

We are pleased to remind you that all students in the Pittston Area School District are eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch every school day. This program is available to every student, regardless of family income, and ensures that all children have access to nutritious meals prepared daily by our food service staff.
Please note that due to the recent freeze on SNAP benefit adjustments, families may experience delays or temporary pauses in updates to their benefits. The free meal program at Pittston Area Schools remains active and unaffected by these changes, so every student will continue to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost.
We encourage all students to take advantage of this opportunity and enjoy healthy meals at school.

🍬 All staff at the IC hope that students and their families have a very happy and safe Halloween!! 🍬
Thanks to the two best principals (Mr. Zangardi & Mrs. Ferentino) and fabulous music teacher, Mrs. Baur, the students had a very fun-filled Thursday! The faculty and staff put on their version of the Masked Singer. Faculty and staff danced and sang, while "guest judges" and students guessed who was behind the "masks". Today kicked off spirit week at the IC! The students showed off their spirit by wearing red, white, and/or blue and cheered on our Patriots during a pep rally! Good Luck to our Patriots as they play at WA tonight at 7:00p.m!! ❤️💙🤍
