Back in the fall, Ms. Ralston's 8th grade science classes participated in a program where they adopted a cow named Sprinkles. Sprinkles is being featured at the PA Farm Show in Harrisburg from 1/10-1/17 and any of her students can go meet her. Sprinkles even made the news, see the story below!

President's Day Pittston Area Girls Lacrosse Kids Clinic
Come join the Pittston Area Girls Lacrosse team in a fun President's Day kids clinic! Clinic will consist of some basic skills & drills, as well as small sided gameplay!
Grades: 2-8
Date: Monday February 16th
Time: 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m.
Location: Pittston Area Primary Center (Rock St.)
Cost: $20 per player. $5 discount for 2nd family member. Cash or check the day of clinic or venmo @Robert-Switzer-8

The Pittston Area School District will be holding a flexible instruction day (FID) on Tuesday, December 23.  Materials have been distributed and will be posted in Schoology for students to complete.  The district will resume in-person instruction on Monday, January 5. Mr. Roote would like to invite all faculty, staff, and students to our 6th Grade Beginner Band "Informance" here on the middle school stage tomorrow after school at 3:30pm. This "informal performance" will debut our newest instrumental music students and showcase the work they have been doing so far this year.
ALL STUDENTS PARTICIPATING OR ATTENDING MUST HAVE A RIDE HOME AFTER THE PERFORMANCE (around 4pm) AS THERE WILL BE NO BUSES OR SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION AT THAT TIME.
Audience members will be admitted into the school shortly after our usual dismissal at 3pm. Please contact Mr. Roote with any questions.
