Pittston Area Intermediate and Primary Center students and administrators shared heartfelt appreciation for the members of the Pittston Area School Board during January’s School Board Appreciation Month. Students from each grade level took the floor at the recent board meeting to express their gratitude for the board’s continued commitment to improving education. Students thanked the board for providing new technology, such as Chromebooks and SMART Boards, that have transformed how they learn and explore ideas in the classroom. The board was also recognized for fostering an environment built on innovation, safety, and student success through improved facilities, upgraded technology, and enhanced security measures across the district.
The Pittston Area School District extends its sincere thanks to all current board members President - Dr. Frank A. Serino, Vice President- Ms. Rosanne Ricotta, Treasurer- Atty. Tim Cotter, Mr. John Adonizio, Dr. Marissa Chiumento, Mr. Michael Crawford, Mrs. Katherine Healey, Mr. Joseph Salvo, and Mr. Martin Quinn for their leadership, vision, and unwavering dedication to the district’s students and families. Members of the PAHS National Honor Society and the PAMS Student Council also presented thoughtful gifts to the board of education in gratitude for their dedication and support.
