The Pittston Area Girls lacrosse team will be hosting a girls lacrosse clinic next Monday October 13th at the lacrosse fields located behind the primary center on Rock Street from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Girls grades 2nd through 8th are invited to come and learn the game of lacrosse while having fun. Clinic will consist of some basic skills and drills in the morning and small-sided games in the afternoon. Pizza will be provided for lunch. Cost is $25, payable at the clinic and includes a tee shirt.

Also competing yesterday were fellow Patriots: Noah Gruber, who shot an 84; Andrew Nocito, who carded an 87; and David Homschek, who finished with a 94. Congratulations to Patrick as he advances to compete at Penn State on October 20 and 21.
The season isn’t over yet, as our Patriots will return to action in the District 2 Team Finals this Monday at Elk View Country Club.

The Lyceum - The Armature at the NEIU, Ballet Theatre of Scranton, Broadway Theatre of NEPA
We are pleased to announce that fall registration is now open for The Lyceum, the year-long weekend school for the performing and visual arts. Broadway Theatre of NEPA, Ballet Theatre of Scranton and The Armature at the NEIU have partnered in this exciting venture for students in grades 2-12 in northeastern PA.
The fall program begins on October 12 and continues every Sunday afternoon for 5 weeks with classes in dance, music, theatre, musical theatre, drawing, painting, mixed media and printmaking at the Ballet Theatre of Scranton. Professional artists will teach master classes in skills-based content of specific art forms. Students will learn from master artists in their concentration of choice: Visual or Performing Arts. Students will choose only one concentration.
