Registration is officially open for the 2026 Pittston Area Youth Football Camp! This camp is perfect for anyone interested in football who will be entering Kindergarten through 6th grade for the Fall ‘26 season.
It is highly recommended for athletes playing or interested in playing youth football for the Duryea Wildcats or Pittston Junior Patriots, including Flag players.
Camp Schedule & Information:
Monday, July 6, 2026: 3rd to 6th Grade
Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Registration begins at 11:45 AM)
Tuesday, July 7, 2026: Kindergarten to 2nd Grade
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (Registration begins at 11:45 AM)
Please note the K-2nd grade camp concludes at 2:00 PM.
Location: Practice fields located right next to the Jimmy Cefalo Alumni Athletic Center.
Attire & Preparation: Athletes should wear gym clothes and appropriate athletic footwear (either cleats or gym shoes work great). Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the day's weather.
Cost & Payment Details:$30.00 per camper (and $20.00 for each additional sibling). The cost includes personalized instruction, a camp T-Shirt, and refreshments.
Registration deadline is June 19th.

Please make arrangements to pick up your child's medication from the school health office no later than Thursday, June 4, 2026, by 1:30 pm.
Medications cannot be sent home with students and must be picked up by a parent/guardian or another individual 18 years of age or older. Any medication not picked up will be discarded.

For those who signed up for Flag Football through our Varsity Football Program. Please see below for a few important updates and reminders as we gear up to start:
Flag Football Shirts Are In: The league shirts have arrived and will be distributed to the players at our first session on June 7th.
Schedule Reminder: We will meet for all four Sundays in June from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the practice fields next to the Jimmy Cefalo Alumni Center. Please arrive 15 minutes early on the first day.

5th Grade RailRiders Trip 5/27
As our rescheduled game approaches, here is some important information to know for the trip. Attached you will find the rules of what is permitted into the stadium.
Also, CASH is ACCEPTED!

Cross country has been canceled today due to the weather. Students will be sent home on their regular transportation.
Due to the weather forecast on Wednesday, the field trip has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 27th. Just a reminder, as stated on the permission slip, cash is accepted at the stadium.

Flag Football Canceled Today
Due to inclement weather, flag football will be canceled today. Students will take their normal transportation home. Any questions or concerns, please contact the office.
The Pittston Area Varsity Football Program is excited to announce our 2026 Youth Flag Football Camp! This co-ed league is a great way for students to get active, learn the game, and have fun on the turf this summer.

Key Details
Who: Open to co-ed students currently in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.
Experience: No experience is required.
Format: The league will consist of 6 teams with a maximum of 12 players per team.
Capacity: We are strictly capping the league at the first 72 students to register—secure your spot now!
Cost: $60 per child, which includes instruction and a Flag Football T-shirt to wear each week.
Deadline: All registrations and payments must be submitted by May 1st.
