🍎 After an exciting morning at the Pep Rally on Friday, the students in Mrs. Brombacher’s class continued  some fun in the afternoon with an “Apple  Discovery”. 🍎They reviewed their reading/science theme of the “5 Senses” and the “letter Aa”!They explored red, yellow and green apples 🍏using their 5 senses. They discussed, read and wrote sentences about the apples. They also participated in several math activities with apples including counting, graphing & comparing numbers. Students learned about the health benefits of apples as well! They ended the day by learning about predictions & tally marks by making their own predictions as to which team they think would win the World Series!⚾️😊

🎃Pittston Area hosted an amazing HalloSTEAM event where science and Halloween fun came together! 👻🧪
Students explored hands-on STEAM activities — connecting circuits to make light-up necklaces, observing chemical reactions to create “poison apples,” and tackling exciting building challenges. They also observed sound waves in action and participated in a variety of other engaging activities and demonstrations!
It was a spook-tacular day of curiosity, creativity, and discovery — proving that learning can be both educational and electrifying! ⚡🎃

🎉❤️💙 Our Pittston Area senior football players, cheerleaders, and band members took a special walk down memory lane — parading through the halls of the Primary Center where their journey first began as kindergarten and first grade students.
Our Pittston Area Patriot family came together in full spirit — proud former teachers cheering, excited young students lining the halls, and proud parents watching their seniors shine!
What an amazing tradition to celebrate how far these incredible young men and women have come. Once little Patriots… always Patriots. ❤️💙
Let’s carry that energy into the pep rally and the big game — Beat the Warriors! 💪🔥

🍎 Mrs. Antal’s Kindergarten class had an amazing first week of learning centers! ✨ The students had several opportunities to learn through play with fun, hands-on activities. 🙌
🔬 Science Center:
The students examined and sorted collections of natural items like acorns, chestnuts, leaves, and pinecones 🍂🌰. They used magnifying glasses 🔎 to get a closer look and drew their observations on response sheets. ✏️
🔤 ABC Center:
The students used play dough to form letters ✨. This fun, hands-on activity helped them learn the alphabet while developing their fine motor skills. 💪✍️
🌈 Math Center:
It was a “rainbow” of fun! 🌟 The class sorted Skittles by color 🍬 and created bar graphs 📊. This activity helped them explore numbers, colors, and fine motor skills in a sweet and colorful way!
📖 Listening Center:
The students enjoyed Let It Fall 🍁. They listened to the story aloud and used a response sheet to build their reading fluency and comprehension skills. 🧠🎧
We had so much fun learning this week and can’t wait for centers every week! 🎉🖍️📚
