Due to the two-hour delay , the PAHS students who attend the WBACTC in the AM, will not attend the WBACTC. Also, they will not have class at PAHS until 12:34 PM. Therefore, PASD will provide special bus runs for 9th and 10th grade WBACTC students. Please see the schedule and times attached to this message.

PAHS will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7 PM.
***Please note that both conference days will be walk-in appointments only. You will be able to meet with teachers on a first-come, first-serve basis. Scheduled appointments will not take place.
I encourage everyone to attend, as parental/family engagement is critical to positive student achievement and overall school social-emotional learning.
Please keep in mind the following guidelines to ensure a positive/productive visit to our school:
Please enter/exit the building through the main entrance only.
Upon entering the building, all parents and visitors are required to empty their pockets and have any bags, purses, etc. scanned through the X-ray machines.
Also, all parents and visitors will be required to pass through the metal detectors to ensure no contraband remains in their pockets.
Once you pass through the X-ray machines and metal detections, you must sign in.
After signing in, you can move about the school as you wish. Staff and students will be on hand to assist.
Please try to limit your conferences to 15 minutes (depending on the line). If necessary, we will be happy to set up a follow-up email or phone call.

We are pleased to remind you that all students in the Pittston Area School District are eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch every school day. This program is available to every student, regardless of family income, and ensures that all children have access to nutritious meals prepared daily by our food service staff.
Please note that due to the recent freeze on SNAP benefit adjustments, families may experience delays or temporary pauses in updates to their benefits. The free meal program at Pittston Area Schools remains active and unaffected by these changes, so every student will continue to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost.
We encourage all students to take advantage of this opportunity and enjoy healthy meals at school.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us provide for our students’ well-being.
Sincerely,
Pittston Area School District Administration

Also, anyone from the public can purchase tickets in the administration office from 8 AM to 3 PM on both days.
