The application deadline is Friday, February 27, 2026. *Check with your guidance department to find out if an internal school deadline has been set.
Application Process:
1. Applicants must be in good academic and attendance standing and obtain permission from the guidance office to apply to the Junior Leadership Northeast program.
2. Submit the online application and the $40 application fee (check/money order/credit card) *If this fee is a hardship and a barrier to application, please contact the Leadership office at (570) 270-5323 to request that this fee be waived.
3. Submit TWO Student Leadership Assessments: Must be completed by two adults (other than your parent or relative) who have known you for more than one year. A link to the Student Assessment form can be found here and on the Leadership Northeast website.
4. Only the first 20 completed applications (including Assessments and the $40 processing fee) received from each school by the established deadline will be eligible for consideration. You will receive a confirmation email from Nicole Hurchick once the Leadership Northeast office has received all required materials for your application packet.

Good Evening,
We will follow a two-hour delay on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. The WBACTC will have a flexible instructional day, resulting in adjusted arrival and dismissal times for PAHS students attending WBACTC. Please review the details below.
1. Ninth-grade students attending WBACTC all day will not report to PAHS and will participate in a flexible instruction day.
2. Ninth- and tenth-grade students attending WBACTC for a half day will not attend PAHS in the morning. They should go to their designated bus stops, as on previous two-hour delays, and will arrive at PAHS at approximately 11:45 AM.
3. Eleventh- and twelfth-grade students attending WBACTC will be dismissed after their fourth-period class at 11:57 AM. Students who drive may leave at that time. Transportation will be provided shortly after for those who need a ride home.

The Pennsylvania Society is pleased to announce that it is now accepting submissions for our 2026 Scholarship Award!
This year, in honor of America’s Semiquincentennial, they have increased their scholarship giving and are now offering three (3) prizes of $7,500 each.
Candidates will now be asked to complete an Initial Interest Form and then prepare and record a short video presentation.

Due to the two-hour delay , the PAHS students who attend the WBACTC in the AM, will not attend the WBACTC. Also, they will not have class at PAHS until 12:34 PM.
