As we prepare for our upcoming graduation ceremony, I would like to take a moment to remind all seniors of an important expectation regarding attire.
Graduation is a formal school event, and only school-issued attire—including caps, gowns, and approved honor stoles, cords, or pins—may be worn during the ceremony. Caps cannot be decorated and personal decorations, added accessories, or non-school-issued items are not permitted.
This expectation helps maintain the dignity and uniformity of the ceremony as we celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of [Year]. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that all graduates are presented in a manner that reflects the pride and tradition of Pittston Area High School.
If you have any questions, please contact me at 570-654-2415.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to celebrating this special milestone together.
Sincerely,
Chris Lazevnick, Ed.D.
Principal
