This year, in honor of America’s Semiquincentennial, they have increased their scholarship giving and are now offering three (3) prizes of $7,500 each.
Candidates will now be asked to complete an Initial Interest Form and then prepare and record a short video presentation.

PAHS will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7 PM.
***Please note that both conference days will be walk-in appointments only. You will be able to meet with teachers on a first-come, first-serve basis. Scheduled appointments will not take place.
I encourage everyone to attend, as parental/family engagement is critical to positive student achievement and overall school social-emotional learning.
Please keep in mind the following guidelines to ensure a positive/productive visit to our school:
Please enter/exit the building through the main entrance only.
Upon entering the building, all parents and visitors are required to empty their pockets and have any bags, purses, etc. scanned through the X-ray machines.
Also, all parents and visitors will be required to pass through the metal detectors to ensure no contraband remains in their pockets.
Once you pass through the X-ray machines and metal detections, you must sign in.
After signing in, you can move about the school as you wish. Staff and students will be on hand to assist.
Please try to limit your conferences to 15 minutes (depending on the line). If necessary, we will be happy to set up a follow-up email or phone call.

PA State Police Hill Impact Program!!!
The PA State Police will be presenting during 4th period on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in the high school auditorium on the Hill Impact Program. In this program, participants ages 15-18 experience a comprehensive introduction to various aspects of law enforcement training and education. Any student interested must sign up with Mrs. Joyce by 11:00 am on Friday, November 14, 2025 in room A19.

Students who want to purchase tickets for the PA-WA football game on Friday, 10/24/25, can purchase tickets during both lunch periods on Wednesday, 10/22/25, and Thursday, 10/23/25, from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM. Students can purchase student and adult tickets. Ticket prices for adults are $5.00 and $3.00 for students.
Also, anyone from the public can purchase tickets in the administration office from 8 AM to 3 PM on both days.

Reminder. The new student drop off location is on the school bus port starting tomorrow, 10/14/25. This means that students who are driven to school will now be dropped off at the school bus port and enter the building from the back of the school, using the entrance to the B/C hall. Also, juniors who drive to school will enter the building using the same entrance.

The NHS will be doing a homecoming dress drive this year. Students will be able to look through the dresses starting this Wednesday, October 1st through next Wednesday, October 8th , so If you have any desire to donate your dresses for 2 service hours each (max of 4 hours), please drop them off in Mrs. Koss's room at anytime. If you would like to take a dress free of charge, please see Mrs. Koss for a pass during your study hall period. Anyone is welcome to donate or take any dresses.
