Patriot Flag Football Update: Important Reminders
Parents and Guardians,
For those who signed up for Flag Football through our Varsity Football Program. Please see below for a few important updates and reminders as we gear up to start:
Flag Football Shirts Are In: The league shirts have arrived and will be distributed to the players at our first session on June 7th.
Schedule Reminder: We will meet for all four Sundays in June from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the practice fields next to the Jimmy Cefalo Alumni Center. Please arrive 15 minutes early on the first day.

Outstanding Payments: We are still missing a handful of registration payments. If you have not yet submitted your payment, please reach out directly via email at paul.russick@gmail.com as soon as possible so we can get your child squared away.
Last-Minute Spots Available: We have about 10 extra league shirts available for last-minute registrations. If you know anyone with a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader living in the district who still wants to play, please have them message me directly right away to claim a spot.

Flag Football Canceled Today
Due to inclement weather, flag football will be canceled today. Students will take their normal transportation home. Any questions or concerns, please contact the office.
Good evening! Some of you may have seen a post or heard about a possible threat to the school tomorrow. Please be assured that there is no credible threat to our school or students. School administrators as well as our school security staff immediately investigated the claim. The allegation was determined to be unfounded, with no basis in actual intent or a plan.We take every report of this nature extremely serious.Student and staff safety remains our top priority every single day. Our school maintains robust safety measures, and we remain vigilant and in close communication with law enforcement to ensure a safe learning environment. Out of an abundance of caution we will have law enforcement present to ease the qualms these types of posts or rumors can cause.

The Pittston Area Varsity Football Program is excited to announce our 2026 Youth Flag Football Camp! This co-ed league is a great way for students to get active, learn the game, and have fun on the turf this summer.

Key Details
Who: Open to co-ed students currently in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.
Experience: No experience is required.
Format: The league will consist of 6 teams with a maximum of 12 players per team.
Capacity: We are strictly capping the league at the first 72 students to register—secure your spot now!
Cost: $60 per child, which includes instruction and a Flag Football T-shirt to wear each week.
Deadline: All registrations and payments must be submitted by May 1st.

Good afternoon! Tomorrow March 17th, the doors where our student’s normally get dropped off in the morning will be getting worked on. Parents/guardians will drop off around the back of the building where our school garden is. Please continue pulling around the school. We will have staff outside directing drop off. This gives us an opportunity to try a new drop off procedure that could potentially eliminate some traffic in the front of the building. If the new drop off is more efficient we will be using this drop off method for the remainder of the year. Thank you for your patience, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
